IBD. In remission… Finally

Hurrah, I am officially in remission from my Ulcerative Colitis. I am still taking the medication every day – Pentasa – and for me, it’s working a treat. I feel very lucky.

Ulcerative Colitis is a chronic condition. This means that it is ongoing and lifelong, although you may have long periods of good health known as remission, as well relapses or flare-ups when your symptoms are more active.

I’m just waiting now, for my MRI scan results and consultation at the end of February, in regards to the Ankylosing Spondylitis

I’m feeling pretty good at the moment, moderate pain which is manageable.

I’m so excited to go to Finland in three weeks, and we are busy buying thermals and snow boots. Eekk!

Oh, and I’m excited that my little blog got 200 followers this week. For me, this blog is just a place for my thoughts and feelings about my life, warts and all.. so to have 200 people that might wanna read that is amazing! So, I thank you all who may be reading 😀
